The Design-Build Institute of America, Inc., (DBIA), a nonprofit, membership-based organization, promotes and encourages the growth of the design-build project delivery process, and seeks improvement of the industry through the utilization of fully integrated services in the designing, building, financing and operating of constructed projects. DBIA supports the development of affiliated Regions and Chapters to broaden its impact and increase opportunities for member participation.

2024 DBIAHR Scholarship Recipients
The Design Build Institute of America Hampton Roads Chapter (DBIAHR) offers academic scholarships for the purpose of assisting students interested in pursuing a career in engineering, design, construction and related professions. We are pleased to announce that we recieved applications from 9 deserving students to include a diverse student group attneding 5 schools each with design or build industry related majors.
Applications were evaluated based on the applicant's past academic performance, relationship of course study to the engineering, design and construction industry, extracurricular activities, community involvement, work history, and attitude.
